Brand Writing Prompt #005
Brand Writing Prompt #005
Sometimes, I feel like a walking dollar sign. Not because I’m rich—I’m not—but because it seems that everyone I meet is trying to sell me something. I know some of you feel this way, too (you’ve told me as much).
Anytime someone slides into my DMs asking me to get on a free consult call, I get an ad for a product I’ve whispered about to a friend, or The Gideons hand me a tiny bible while zoom by on my bike, I think:
At least buy me dinner first.
And chances are, your customer/clients/buyers feel this way, too.
This Week’s Brand Writing Prompt
Write about your first “date” with a lead, referral partner, or new business friend. This isn’t a high-pressure sales pitch—it’s a first date. One that ends in a hug, a handshake, or just a great conversation.
Write about:
💚 Where do you take them?
💚 Do you bring a gift or maybe share a compliment?
💚 What kind of questions do you ask to know if they’re the one?
💚 What does a successful first date look like? A follow-up date? A ‘let’s stay in touch!’?
Feel free to hit reply and let me know the answers to these questions, or keep them to yourself!
I’m always here to help.
See you next week!
